I've been coming to Hermosa Massage & Spa weekly for nearly 2 years now. My mother and I got into a car accident and this was where we got our first massage afterwards. The massage therapists were gentle and in-tune to our needs as we progressed through the healing journey.

Super relaxing, zen, and clean! The massage rooms are insulated from noise and the music selection is superb so we often fall asleep during the massage. Cherrie, the receptionist, is a kind and down-to-earth human who is always super accommodating

We usually see Tina and June as they have consistently delivered. Both have powerful healing hands and will adjust the pressure as required. They went gentle on us the first few visits and adjusted the pressure for subsequent treatments as required.

Love love love the location! It's just a few blocks from the beach so we usually head there for some extra zen time after the massage. Hi-Fi Espresso is right down the street and has become a regular post-massage treat for us. Try the 'bees knees'!

If you're recovering from an accident or looking for a calm and welcoming place to unwind from all the inevitable stressors in our lives, book this place. And don't forget to drink ample water for at least 24 hours afterwards.

My wife and I both had massages and WOW!! The rooms were clean and inviting but the best part was the massage! We get them regularly at home and when traveling. I would recommend 90 minutes for the most relaxation! Next time we're in town, we will be booking again!

I'm 8 months pregnant and just came out of a 60 min prenatal massage with Tina. It was incredible. Great amount of pressure and she really paid attention to the areas I asked her to focus on. I will try and get in another prenatal massage or two before my due date, but definitely looking forward to trying out the other types of massages later. Thank you Tina!

I have had both a couples massage and a singles massage at this location & both experiences were great. The masseuses have all been excellent & front desk/reception is always friendly, accommodating & helpful.

No frills massage spot for a reasonable price. The communication and storefront isn't great but the massages are the kind where they can also stand on your back, which is the sign of a legit massage. Just don't expect any spa element to this place.

I'm always hesitant to try a new massage place that isn't a full blown spa. You never know what you're going to get. This place was fantastic! I got a 90 min prenatal massage and it was pure bliss. My friend and her husband got a sports massage and deep tissue and had an equally wonderful experience. We all walked out super relaxed and ready to book our next appointment. Reasonable prices and got us all in when we called that same morning.

One of the best massages of my life and I have had a lot in all kinds of locations and cities from high end resorts to holes in the wall. We were able to book online and get a same day appointment. Location was clean and the staff was friendly, helpful and skilled. If I lived in the area I would be a regular client and would probably be going back next week.

Amazing. I came here with my friend for mothers day special. With Jennifer, I did CBD oil massage, foot scrub and hot stone( hot stone was included in the couple massage). I have a bad postpartum back pain, so I started off with the medium level of massage, then asked for the deep tissue type since I thought I can take the next level of strength. It was very rewarding and I felt less back pain after the massage. Hot Stone was amazing too. I will definitely come back again, maybe with my husband. Tip: if you'd like the string massage like the kind you want to be walked on, you might wanna try the strong level, because my friend did the gentle relaxing level and didn't get walked on. She likes the gentle one a lot, but she said she's liked to be walked on. Maybe you can ask for it with the gentle level? It's just the best to ask for what you want and see, I guess.

Hermosa Massage & Spa hands down have THE best massage therapists! Great quality massage, they really tend to your needs and ask what areas they'd like to focus on and actually deliver in those areas. The service is fantastic and they really go above and beyond to make sure your happy with the service.

Me and my Wife do the couple massage with CBD Oil weekly because it's really that good! The CBD oil is 100% a MUST-HAVE. My body always feels rejuvenated and recovered like i just had 48 hours of sleep. It also really helps with my sore muscles and rescues inflammation so I'm able to perform better in my workouts.

If you're in South Bay, just go - trust me it's worth it. Even if your in LA, just go and drive over here - trust me it's worth it.

This is the best massage you will find in all of Los Angeles! There is always availability and the service is top notch. You can essential pick your own massage combo- I personally always get deep tissue with Thai stretching and CBD oil... There isn't a better way to end your day! Your massage therapist will even walk on your back if you desire to get those stubborn knots out.

The staff is always friendly and checks in with your specific wants and needs. Also parking is easy- they have their own parking lot right off of PCH.

For the best price and experience, this is the place to relax.

I went in for a prenatal massage and I am five months pregnant. This was my first time here. The room was clean and relaxing. Vanna was my masseuse and did a great job. They had me lay on my side and then switch sides to massage either side of me. I would definitely return for a massage. Everyone was very kind and friendly.

My wife and I really love this location the staff and location is great. I would like to give a shoutout to Kitty, Jennifer, and Tina they are great in there profession.

Hermosa massage and spa is awesome.
After making an appointment I came to this place looking for swedish massage. Walking, I was greeted by Pim and kindly explained to me the difference in each massage since I did not know what the other massages entailed.
She booked me with Kitty, who was far beyond exceptional, Kitty made sure the pressure was right and being tender in a couple of areas she would check in to see if i was ok, and did a great job.
Make sure you tip her well when you see her she is very good at her job!

This place is amazing! I just moved to HB and was looking for a thai massage spot. I had Sarah and she was excellent. Make sure to park in the designated "MASSAGE ONLY" parking spots on the side of the building.

Definitely my new go to place. Wondered about it for years -- looked a little suspect tucked away next to the Ace Hardware store. But surprise -- it's very cozy, warm, and clean! Just had a massage last weekend -- Jenny was the best!! 5 stars all the way

I have been having a lot of back pain, so a friend recommended this place. I am so happy that I tried it! The receptionist was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The therapist did a wonderful job. She noted that I had a lot of pain because my legs and back were so tense. The Thai massage was just what I needed to loosen my muscles and help me feel so much better. I really loved the entire experience. The environment was calming and felt very private. I love the boutique feel of the spa.

I've had massages ranging from the super cheap shops to high end spas and this is one of the best massages I've ever had! I have having hip pains from sitting at my desk job for so long and they helped massage and stretch it out, it felt so good afterwards! The place looks a little disheveled from the outside but the interior is nice and neat. I also really loved that they had heating pads on the beds so it wasn't cold while waiting for the masseuse.

The best massage I've had in years! The staff were very friendly and communicative. The combination massage was a perfect mix of soothing touch and working out sore areas. The heated massage beds are a great addition to making it a comfortable experience. I left feeling extremely relaxed and loved the whole experience!

This is an excellent facility -very clean very organized and very prompt with their appointments . I was very pleased ! I had Jenny for the first time ...she works there on Saturdays and she was excellent ! she did a mixture of Thai massage with Swedish massage and she was phenomenal . I highly recommend her . I think she just started working there and she is a wonderful addition to the spa.

Got an appointment right away. My husband needs deep tissue massage once or twice a month and has been going to Massage envy for the past 3 years. But inconsistent staffing forced him to look else where. The first time he went there he came back and said it was the best deep tissue he's ever had. I personally would never go because I do not like to have people walk on my back. But, I am considering getting a relaxing message after he's been boasting each time he returns from a session.

If you are in need of a massage try this place! I was in much need for some relaxation. All the rooms are separated and even the restroom it's at the far end to ensure it doesn't interfere with massage. They were able to take me and my friend same day.

As a full time yoga teacher I need to find a place that can dig in to help heal the work I put on my body. This place is amazing, plenty of parking, and the massage beds are super comfy. Cherie gives one of the best massages I have ever had. Could t recommend this place more!

So all week we've been dying to get a massage anywhere we could. It was way more difficult than we imagined to get a good massage right now. Every place was either booked or super sketchy. Not giving up on the pleasurable massages we were seeking we came across Hermosa Massage & Spa and booked an appointment the same day!

Unfortunately, due to complications with them we had to reschedule for the next day.

Now I do not know really what either of us was expecting with these massages but man did they over achieve. I mean, I am very familiar with all different types of massages being I was a former athlete and these ladies are top notch! I had the pleasure of being worked on by Vanna and Queen was worked on by Tina.
They both did an absolutely amazing job and was 60 minutes not wasted at all.

Went here for first time desperate to feel improved and TINA was hands down, the best massage therapist I have ever gone too! I generallay get massages monthly so I have been to many places and experienced many massages-I will now make Hermosa Massage and Spa my permanent go to with Tina as my first choice of therapist! Overall customer service was also greta-Lucy at the front desk was super kind and professional and the atmosphere was clean, smelled terrific and pricing more than competitive!

Received such an amazing deep tissue massage from Cherrie! Much needed massage! I explained how much my neck and shoulders were in pain and tense. She definitely was able to notice. She took the time and made sure to focus on that area. She kindly also gave me tips on how to avoid that much tension on my shoulders and neck. They're only taking appointments. I made my appointment online. Although they took a while to confirm my online appointment, I was able to get my massage as planned. I am definitely coming back!

I got a massage here over two weeks ago and it was AMAZING. It was the perfect combination of what I asked for, which was a Swedish massage with some pressure point work. The therapist and receptionist were very careful and I felt safe the entire time (e.g., they took my temperature when I came in and we both wore our masks during the massage). I will definitely be going back soon.

I had to get some good deep tissue lovin'!!!! Only in town for a few days- this appointment was definitely worth the wait. Customer service was on point, clean environment, they made be feel comfortable before even walking in. It is good to know and see they are following CDC guidelines.

I can honestly say this has been the first deep tissue massage that had me feeling like wow, they finally got it right.

So sad that I won't be around for more but for my next visit I will be stopping here again.

They did such an amazing massage. I did the Swedish/Thai massage combo and my body felt so much softer afterwards. The rooms have low lighting, smell good, and are very clean. There's also free parking available! Definitely worth the price. I give this a 5 out of 5 stars rating.

Great value I have always had an amazing experience here. The place is clean and parking on side and back. It's not a ritzy place and the price points reflect this.

I pulled a muscle in my back and I was desperate for a massage. Luckily Hermosa Massage & Spa had an opening today. Jai was my masseuse and she was excellent. I let her know when pressure was too hard and she lightened it up. I felt great afterwards. The room is small but very comfortable and quiet. My massage was a full hour (not 50 minutes like some of the other places). I will be going back very soon!

My only heads up is the driveway to the parking lot is high so I scraped the bottom of my little car going in. Next time I will go around back thru the hardware store parking lot. This shouldn't be an issue if you have a bigger car or SUV.

They are so EXCELLENT at massage therapy. I thought I knew what was hurt but Tina, my therapist, was able to truly ease my pains with a deep swedish massage; not just my injured shoulder but the attached and compensating muscles. I feel stretched, relaxed and energetic. dont delay this is the bEst in the south bay. Dont be put off by exterior, inside is clean, comfy and professional.

I want to start off by saying when you first walk in you're greeted by a very friendly staff who will help satisfy your needs. The front desk was a big help on selecting what I needed for my back pain and I got CBD oil to help out the tight muscles.

James was my masseur and he was amazing, he was able to get all of my knot's and I felt like a new person walking out of the room. I highly recommend coming here and asking for James.

I can't say enough good things about Hermosa Massage. I'm taking a break from the Pacific Crest Trail to visit some friends and family. After 400 miles of hiking I thought it would be nice to get a massage, and reward myself for the hard work so far 😉 The location was close so I decided to give it a shot and what a pleasant surprise it was!
The place was very neat and tidy and I was greeted by the sweetest young lady at the front desk. Her name is Cherrie and she is super kind and gives an amazing massage to top it off. She was very professional and applied the perfect pressure for a deep tissue massage which I had requested. I have somewhat of a muscular frame and usually the masseuse does not apply enough pressure to get to my problem areas efficiently even when I request more. Cherrie took her time and knows how to address areas effectively. The environment was quite and soothing and the table was comfortable as well. I hate when the face pad feels like a brick and this was not the case here.
The only drawback is that I don't live in the area and will be continuing my hike in a few days. I kind of with I could bring her with me on the trail lol, she'd probably make a killing with all the sore hiker legs out there. In any case, if you have the opportunity to stop by please do yourself a favor and get a massage here. I can only vouch for Cherrie but it's worth stopping by and seeing if she is available. And you might want to have someone drop you off and pick you up after, that's how lazy I felt when she was finished, could barely keep my eyes open. Best wishes to her and the staff here.

My Dad and I are visiting California. We called a couple of places and they were booked. Called this place and they got us in right away. It was an amazing deep tissue massage with great stretching. Not fancy but did a wonderful job!!!
